well the first couple weeks i was enjoying Skyrim, but for the last few days im really beginning to hate it, ive 3 quests that are broken, spent 3hrs trying to figure out a BOW glitch, the last 3 days ive spent more time going back than forward, ive spent so much time going back to old saves to try and put it right (with no success)

so now ive just done the quest in cidha mine, escaped to find my name has being cleared and got all my items back, theres a big battle (i dont join in) i then find the guards want me to go to jail again ?? the forsworn attack the guard so i run out side the gates to find the forsworn are attacking me ?? even though i just helped them escape, so i run cause i really dont want to fight them only to find imperial soldiers are after me....WTF has go on ??,
i seem to have turned everyone against me without drawing my weapon,

I had problems with this glitch for ages. I couldn't complete the thieves guild quests and a few other quests. I even paid a random traveler 8000 gold to clear my bounty but the guards STILL wouldn't stop bothering me.

Just when I lost all hope, I finally managed to fix it. In the main quest you get to invite both sides of the civil war to a peace meeting. If you sided with the stormcloaks, then you get to exchange markarth in return for riften - thus solving the problem

If you didn't side with the stormcloaks....well...I think you're [censored] lol

ive gone back but the guards still hassle me saying ive killed some ppl with witness's ?? so i say take me to jail, but nothing happens and i start all over again, guess im supposed to be there enemy ;/

Just a bug with the quest, I had it too.

ok wtf i have 4 characters at levels - 48, 32, 26 and 39 ive done A LOT of quests, even ones that are glitched for almost everyone and i still havent encountered a glitched quest haha am i the only one? oh and didnt install the 1.2 update which seem to break more than it repairs haha

That's what I'm talking about. The only way you can stop that happening is to change who rules markarth.

Yeah I have that same problem, too. My solution = just don't go back into the temple of talos. There's not really a reason to anyway. But like other people said, if you change who rules Markarth then they go away.

But yeah, I'm frustrated too because I've encountered several bugged quests as well. Blood on the Ice bugged out for me, becoming unfinishable and the house unbuyable; can't become Thane of Riften because even after doing everything required the Jarl doesn't have the right dialogue; can't continue in the Civil War for the Imperial side either because Legate Rikke won't talk. very unhappy right now.
