My 3rd character's enchant is at 78, and after 3 hours of jumping through Skyrim's 9 holds + an upgraded Thieves' Guild + 3 fences (Tonilla, Endor, NIranye) banish remains an elusive spawn. Can anyone, hopefully the PC chaps with access to the files let us know what are the exact spawn conditions of a banish weapon in shops so I don't go crazy?

Never seen it. Lvl 54 currently, and I've checked various vendors quite a bit.

I saw my first one at level 63, I think. Dropped in a locked chest, if I recall.

I saw one at character level 19, enchant 76. I just rolled another out after buying and learning some conjuration school spells (soul trap + summon flame atronach). I don't think it has to do with character or enchant levels, and I'm hoping someone can dive deep into the system to ascertain if we need to be able to summon deadra to get a banish weapon to spawn in shops? I'm thinking this is a fallacy as well, and it is simply that rare.

Still some percentages on a banish weapon showing up in stores will be nice. 1/512 chance?

Random is Random

i got one as quest reward pretty early on...

Leveled loot. We can't exactly replicate that in future characters.

It is really hard to find. I got to level 50 with my Paladin before seeing any, and even then it was a random spawn.

yeah i knoes, i got it as the axe of whiterun. just do quests until you find it.

I have already found it on all my 3 characters. I'm just trying to learn about its spawn conditions for future characters that I might want to roll.

well like domilasa said, its luck. but its probably easier to find at higher levels.
