Sorry if this has been asked before, but is it a glitch or is it intentional, but when I killed my firfst blood dragon, I ddn't get any soul. I could get the dragon bones and scales , but there was none of the usual animation when it died either. I'm not that far in the main quest so not sure if this is supposed to be the way it is, or just a glitch.

Glitch. Others have had it happen. I'm xbox so I'm stuck waiting for blizz to fix all the bugs. DAMN WEAPON RACKS

I didnt get any souls from Blood dragons on my first save, argonian, but now on my khajit, I do get souls every time I one-hit them with 30x damage :>

It doesn’t matter how hard you hit them, some dragons will spawn without a soul and how you will kill them is irrelevant. It is really a frustrating bug, especially when you are playing with more realistic time scale, since dragons encounters become really rare.

Everyone knows every once in awhile you stumble across a ginger dragon.

I have yet to kill a dragon and not get a soul. Though my most recent one was a named one that Alduin raised and I slaughtered before he had a chance to fight back, but just before that one was a blood dragon random spawn that I killed and got the soul of. My main problem is not encountering enough dragons randomly, I've got a handful of shout-words locked and no souls with which to unlock 'em.
