Raw material to build Ebony stuff ? : V

Hello
I am level 25 and have over the required 80 skills to build Ebony stuff.
Only problem, I do not find the needed raw material...
Is there a place where at level 25 I can find/buy the necessary ?

There is a mine on the Throat of the World, as well as Redbelly Mine.

Also most blacksmiths sell a couple ebony bars.

Redbelly Mine is http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyxMdM6Vrlk. The Throat of the World is the massive mountain west of Riften (the city in the south-east). Climb right to the very top, beyond High Hrothgar, and once it says DISCOVERED THROAT OF THE WORLD on your screen, climb right to the tip of the mountain. There's two ebony ore veins, and a 'Notched Pickaxe' - an Easter Egg reference to Minecraft.

Just one thing, you wont much if any ebony on vendors until you can either craft ebony gear your self or you are above level 20. Also anyone find it strange that Dwarven Armour is worse than Orcish Armour, yet Dwarven Weapons are better than Orcish weapons.

Yes,also "deadric artifacts " like the dawnbreaker should be better than ebony stuff,but no,Merunes Razor's have a terrible damage compared to a deadric dagger.Also it should be possible to create dragonskin/bone weapons.

I pickpocket Moonstone/Quicksiler and Ebony from the Thalmor. They seems to carry it at higher levels.

Gloombound Mine southeast of Windhelm has 24 (!) Ebony veins plus ore scattered around to steal. The Orcs mining there might grumble at you but let you extract ore.

^^This. Fixed all my needs for ebony, and gave me a surplus afterwards. Far better than waiting for those spots with a few veins, or vendors, to refresh.

For what ever reason, it seems that I cannot go up to the Throt of the World and when trying I can not move and die ?

Yeah, the main path to the Throat of the World is covered with a nasty weather pattern. Doing the main quest will help with that problem.
