I need help, urgent and easy to answer question

Post » Tue May 29, 2012 11:13 pm

my high res dlc is corrupted for sure I am certain of this, because It took way too long to download during peak mass nerd hour when all those other *insert bleep* were downloading it when I came back from work
(as timezone is different obviously in Australia).

How to I manually delete and re-download the high res textures because there is no information here. I have tried (and kept in case) deleting the common app folder and re-installing skyrim but the steam website continues to
tell me I still have the dlc on my computer.

so how do I delete the F-ing thing

There's no need to delete it to re-download it.

Do this:
  • Load Steam
  • From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
  • Select the Local files tab and click the Verify integrity of game cache... button.
  • Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
  • Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
This way any corrupted or missing info will be taken care of.
