Recently I've noticed that the battle music for dragons rarely ever plays. At first I thought maybe it was one of my mods, but I've uninstalled/disabled all of them, and when I go to fight a dragon the music still won't play. Aren't there supposed to be one or two songs that will start whenever you fight a dragon, or is there just a chance it will happen and I've been getting unlucky (somewhat like the sneak attack kill animation)? I've also tried searching Google, but nothing shows up except the UESP.net page on dragons, which has nothing to help me.

The further I play into the game, the less battle music I get. Period. Doesn't matter what I'm fighting. It seems like the stronger you get, the less the game wants to play battle music. And apparently, this is normal, as I can't seem to get anyone to take the issue seriously. This in spite of the fact I've been experiencing it across multiple playthroughs on multiple platforms, and the problem didn't seem to begin originally until I was almost level 60 (meaning sometime after 1.3 was released).

Hmm, then I guess the game is programmed to not play battle music if you're too high a level or something. I do seem to recall it played the music for an Ancient Dragon, but wouldn't for the named one around Rorikstead, and most of the other dragons I fight. Maybe someone will make a mod that fixes this, or something. I hope so, I like the dragon battle music.
