Where can I find a LOT of Ebony.

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 4:20 am

I've been spamming iron daggers in intervals (as soon as I see the a single item of the next tier, I go for it to make a whole suit), and am about to move up to Ebony.

I'll need quite a few Ebony ingots, obviously, and was wondering where to find a large amount of them and/ or Ebony ore to make ingots.

Locations?

The Orcish settlement in the NE border of the mountains, south of Windhelm.

Don't remember the name off hand but it's the mine that's attached to the settlement.

The Orcs might give you some crap about not being there but they won't do anything and you can go mine Ebony to your heart's content (you can steal some bits of Ore at their smithy and inside the mine as well).

You can also find Ebony ingots on merchants at about the mid 30's.

Narzleburg or something weird it's called. You can easily get over 40 ebony ore from it (20+ smelted down)

Gloombound will net you somewhere around 45-50, depending on if you steal some, might miss a vein (I'm certain I do), and depending on the chances to get a gem rather than an ore.

But that's plenty. Giving around 20-24 ingots, 19 to craft a full set of daedric armor including the shield, a weapon or two, and still have some leftover to improve a couple things.

You go into the gun like a battery, somewhere against my anatomy?

you can also do the quest for the orcs and then they are happy to let you in to take all their ore.

You can also sell the ore to teh Orc Smith. Earn some easy 3600 gold or so that way. Useful at lower levels.
