Love Being a mage

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 7:49 am

Hi everyone I bought this game on Friday afternoon and spent yesterday experimenting and learning game mechanics. Ive made 3 characters to play + 1 character at Helgen at the creation screen incase I wanna make anymore and skip the horse and cart journey to the execution place.

Im LOVE LOVE LOVING playing a High Elf mage. His name is Solrunne . When he is higher and more developed Ill post a screen shot. Im currently in the ruins of Saarthal and ive come to what looks like a puzzle.

Anyway THANKYOU BETHESDA YOU ROCK

I sang this song too... my mage was Dunmer so you'll probably last a few levels longer... then the 'charging' up of weak spells while Lydia tears through everything before you hit it will get to you... fire bolt should have came before flames

I feel ya, OP. I love my Breton mage. Level 55 now, and loving it. Never had a companion, never will. Never needed one, I was always powerful enough to get by. And companions would just get in the way of my ice storms and die. :P

I play on normal difficulty. I'm sure if I played on master I'd want to kill myself. But I play games to enjoy them, and I enjoy playing a high-level mage on adept. Just challenging enough to keep things interesting, but with quick thinking I can still overcome any enemy with only magic.

I'm thinking I might drop my companion too... I still don't have a house though so Lydia is my House (figurative or literal, you decide)

Make one NOW and you won't look back...

I have all four of my characters going at once...I have 2 saves for each of them and Im just very very careful when I cull saves. I mouse over each save to see the pic and name before I delete
