Is it possible to enable vsync in the Skyrim options?

I cannot remembe rif there is an .inisetting fixes the jitteriness/shake of objects when you approach them in smaller areas, where I think the frame rate is going above 60. I think that this is the problem, with frames way above 60, which makes nearby objects shake.

I have two AMD 6070 cards and I maxed "wait for vertical refresh" in Catalyst Control Center but that hasn't helped so far. A friend suggested Radeon Pro, and I will install that if needed, but I'd rather fix the problem without a 3rd party app.

Thanks.

vsync is actually locked on with Skyrim and bad things happen if you manage to turn it off.

You can force it off via your graphics panel option but you might get a few silly bugs. Forcing V-Sync on is silly, since it can cut performance down by a big margin and make things lag. They probably only do it to avoid their own bugs.

What is the common cause of objects shaking when i get close to them, especially indoors where my frames per second are higher? I want to fix that.
