As I approach the farm, I see two Alik'r soldiers harassing a naked redguard woman - just as I'm about to reach them, a bear jumps out from the trees, and mauls one of the soldiers to death. I pop slow time and unleash a hail of arrows and dispatch the bear; the onlookers are amazed at my mastery of the thu'um (and bow ;p). I walk barely 30 feet up the road, when a rift guard is set upon by 2 imperial soldiers; the fight rages for a long while, blood, arrows and bodies are left littering the road...
Suddenly, a flame atronach and 2 mages run out from the far side of town - lightning cracks, fireballs and ice bolts fly everywhere, the daedra dies and explodes in a huge ball of flame... the mage duel in the street burning and freezing the farmhouse; the last rift guard tries to intervene but is slain by the duelists... the losing mage falls to the ground, impaled grotesquely by a 3ft long shard of ice, I unleash a fear spell upon the last surviving duellist who runs screaming out of town.
Cautiously, I approach the farm to turn in my quest half expecting Alduin himself to descend upon the farm just to top it all off. The farmhand is nearby, having just been witness to the crazy chain of events, she turns to me.
Farmhand: "God this town is so boring, the same stuff every day"
...Nord villages are scarey. if that's a normal day, I'd hate to see a bad one.
