I'm looking to replace my current pc with a reasonably priced pc. I'm looking at Newegg.com at one for $529.
Here is the info about the pc I'm looking at. Would it run Skyrim alright without problems? Other than the known ones with the game it self?
Processor: AMD A8-3800 2.4GHz Processor Main Features: 64 bit Quad-Core Processor Cache Per Processor: 4MB L2 Cache Memory: 6GB DDR3 1333 Hard Drive: 500GB 7200RPM Optical Drive 1: DVD +/- RW Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 6550D

You will need to learn the Turbo burst speed of the CPU cores, and then ask this where it belonged. We have no need of multiple duplicates, so there is a Master thread to keep all these threads together in:

Yes it will, very well indeed. I do a high/ultra setting for my setup which is a slightly lower variant of yours.
These processors overclock and undervolt very well. I have a linked guide in my signature that helps explain that.
Highly recommend you do overclock it since you should get huge performance boosts, as much as 1 Ghz out of it without even changing the voltage much if at all over stock.
