How do i get this place? Everytime i try to get it, the guy says there was an accident there, and it will be ready soon. Well, that was weeks ago, and i've completed the entire game since.

Give me that bloody house!!

You have to complete the quest blood on the ice before it goes up for sell, it's quite buggy and doesn't trigger sometimes from what i hear just leave town a few times and check the cemetary. also when you get the option to buy it make sure to take the option to clean the mess first there's a bug that just leaves it there if you take the living room before it.

Completed all of that, only got 2 acheiveable missions left in my log. Just read up on it, apparently it's a glitch. It suggests pickpocketing the key from the mother or Clan Shatter-Shield, then going into the house, which will trigger the mission.

I sided with the Empire and was able to buy it without doing the BotI questline, however, I couldn't upgrade it before I did.

Once you got the house, buy the "clean up the bloody mess" upgrade first, or the blood and gore most likely won't go away.

I did Blood on the Ice quest pretty much before starting the main quests, but not once did i get the option to buy the house afterwards. It was only after completing the Imperial quest line that i was finally allowed to buy the house but no clean up the bloody mess option appeared and i really wanted to gut that steward like a fish as he was trash talking at me as i killed ulfric >.<

If you buy the Living room upgrade before cleaning up the mess, that option vanishes. If I remember correctly it's at the bottom of the list, so it's easy to just buy one and not even see it before it's gone.

Be sure to complete the quest before buying any of the upgrades. I started the Blood on the Ice quest, bought the house, and immediately bought all the furnishings before completing the quest. I was even careful to remove the gore first. However, at the end of the quest when the dude runs into the house. He just mills around the alchemy area and remains unkillable. This may be the buggiest quest in the game.

Oh well, guess i'll have to take note of that for next playthrough. Its a shame considering that the house in Windhelm has such a nice armory going for it. Overall i think that Honeyside in Riften is the best overall house in game.

Ugh I can't even buy the house I stole the key went inside still no go. Windhelm is fed up atm for me Ulfric dead body is still in the palace half of my dialogs talk like he's still alive and the other like he's dead. All his Jarls seem to have moved into the blue Palace and sit at the table with ulfrics dead body on his throne and the new Jarl sits on him lol.

I can't get the house, already done all the quests. Just want all the houses and a way of spending my money. I sided with Ulfric, he owes me this house.
