No audio during gameplay

Everything worked fine the first 2 days I played. I even put a few non game-ruining mods. Everything still ran perfect. A friend of mine told me a way to increase overall perfermance of my computer by downloading WinTools, or whatever it is, and cleaning out all the "temp files" on my computer. Now I only get sound while the Bethesda logo is coming on screen during start up. Once I get to the main menu and even during gameplay there is no sound AT ALL. I uninstalled and installed again, but there was no change. Could WinTools have deleted a nevessary driver for my sound? My integrated webcam and certain other control panel options no longer work as well. I need help.

oh gaud no.. not wintools....

People.... seriously... reg cleaners and temp cleaners including CCleaner are just not a good idea... they have a habit of screwing more things up rather than what they advertise as "improving"...

may need to reinstall all of those things robkanlaf..

*sigh*

Only if you don't know what you're doing ;) Been using ccleaner weekly for about 3 years now. It's helped prevent the need of OS reinstalls for me :)
