Nightngale Set

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 4:37 am

Can someone explain to me how do i get the Nightngale set?
Or its iart of the main quest?
------------------------------------

Im lvl 40
And i have a ancient nord GS with only 113 atk
Is my only option to forge a Daedric GS for more power?
Coz it kinda boring

The Nightingale Armor set is a reward for completing the Theives guild quest line. You can begin this by speaking with the shady, smooth talking thief in Rifton standing in one of the stalls in the central market area. This set is intended for sneaky types however. The enchantments on it are geared towards ninjas.

Oh... So its not a hevy armor...
So i guess the dragon armor is the only armor that is good enough for worriors.

Put your cursor on the armor piece. On top of the tooltip it will tell you the armor class.

I know the types... Its just when u get a game with more then 400 hours of play time and so little armor options of diversity... All that makes the game a little lame... Think about it, we have only like 15 types of armors for a big freaking game

Also i don't think nightgale set is that good.Cicero robes is way better. Also to upgrade nightgale set is more dificult than obtaing daedric armor.U require "void salts" a very rare material,i only found 2 in about 100 hours of playtrought.

Daedric is the heavy armour with the highest armour rating in the game

rare? you should visit alchemist traders more often mate. this is not RARE at all. can easiely get over 10 in about an hour of just traveling between three alchemits shops. and its not more expensive than a ebony ingot at all.

to the OP :

dont get nightingale items before lvl 50 otherwise the leveled item system will screw you over by handing out weaker versions. at 50 this scaling nonsense finally stops.

No, you need to be level 32 to obtain the highest version.

Void Salts are pretty easy to come by. The alchemy shop in Whiterun usually has 3 or four batches.

32+ for max Nightingale Armor
46+ for Chillrend and Nightingale Blade/Bow. Don't get the final version of the blade if you're ever going to use a grindstone though.

Slightly off-topic, but I unlocked the case that chillrend was in, at level 43, but did not pick it up. I want to wait to grab it at 46. Did I miss out?
