My problem with this is that exploits and balance issues come from people who are doing things intentionally. They're cheating themselves out of a game (if they're even doing that - a lot of Elder Scrolls fun comes from making ridiculously powerful spells (not anymore), equipment, enchantments, etc.)
Quest problems, on the other hand, hurt people whether they want it to or not.
How about instead of working on alchemy/smithing/enchanting exploits that only affect the people that choose to use them, you work on letting me finish the Thieves Guild properly? Please?
