I have two errors continually popping up. One, I completed the archmage questline, but I am continually seeing the error: WETrigger Warning: HoldFaction Controller() Expected 1 or 2, Instead Have 0...or something like that. I am also locked out of the mage's college.

I do play on the PC.

And I have tranferred my saved files once. I imagine they are corrupted now, but I have played many, many hours and do not want to start over.

Are there any fixes to these errors? I searched the forums and saw some posts, but other than shimmying up the wall at the base of the college to find the entrance to Midden and loading a previous save, I have not seen any other solutions.

Would a reinstall, perhaps solve the problem?

Have you by chance ever used the mod "Wars in Skyrim?"

No mods used thus far.
