PC players: Post your system specs, settings (low, medium, high) and framerates.

I need to know what it actually takes to max out skyrim. :liplick:

i5 2500K 3.3Ghz, OC to 4.5Ghz
GTX 570 1280MB OC
GTX 460 SE 1000MB for PhysX
DDR3-1600Mhz RAM, 8GB
Win 7 HP 64-bit

Running Ultra at 1920x1080, 2x AA, 8xAF, everything else default. http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1255692-skyrim-pc-ini-and-console-tweaks/ to have 95 degree FOV, shadows on trees, shadows on land, no depth of field.

I get 50-60 fps running around the countryside.

Nope! I'd have to reconnect at least the cables.

I turned off Vsync and my actual framerate is 115 fps. :celebration: This game runs a lot better than Oblivion, and Oblivion ran okay on my 460 when I was using it as my primary, so I think you'll be fine.

DoF ticks me off bad because the game is telling me what I should and should not be looking at. I let my eyes approximate DoF for me.

Never thought of it that way. :x

DoF tends to damage my frame rate a lot in some games, anyway.

E8600 @ 3.00 Ghz
Win 7 Ulti 64 Bit
Radeon 4870 512 mb
4 Gb Ram

Running on high, no AA, 2x filtering. Everything smooth as butter except in cities it drops to 30 fps.
I'm happy.
