Using Shadow Warrior on an Ancient Dragon

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 9:14 am

My current save has a damn ancient dragon right over my head that keeps attacking and basically one shotting my dunmer assassin over and over. I can't even come close to killing it. It either depletes most of my health with one fire breath or bites my guy in half. On the few occasions that I stay alive for a bit, I keep trying to use my shadow warrior ability to hopefully land some sneak attacks but it never works. Without it, there is no way I'll be able to kill this thing. Has anyone been able to successfully pull off a shadow warrior sneak attack against a dragon?

I have a feeling your on console.....it might juist be the resistance bug since fire should not do that much damage to you since your a dummer, my breton has 50% resistance yet I die easily to magic...

Wow! After about an hour and half of trying I was able to pull off 2 shadow warrior sneak attacks and finally kill it. I don't how I did it. Seems like complete utter luck which kind of svcks. I'm just happy its dead. I just don't understand the rhyme or reason behind shadow warrior. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.

The only thing I've noticed is that it seems to work more consistently with humanoids. Is there a certain trick to it that I'm not aware of?
