I'll BUY Skyrim when quest bugs are fixed.....

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 7:08 am

I have been following all the discussion about all the game bugs that deal with quests not working properly, the new patch 1.2 is not clearing up any quest bugs, so until that is resolved I'll hold on to my money, thank you very much.

Then your going to have to wait for a unofficial patch by the mod community.

Not sure how to reply to that silly statement Swarly, but um, ok. You can have more of the single player game then anyone else.

The game will only get better in time. Its a masterpiece. Wait for the patches or play it unfinished now. Either way its great

I cant wait until they release the editor so the mods will come pouring out

Seriously, I think you're missing out. All forums and this forum in particular attract a certain type of individual that is over dramatic and confrontational, as well as people who are having issues and seeking help, with some fans sprinkled in. By no means should you let our bellyaching and arguing get in the way of purchasing this great game.

Just look at some of the people, even the very negative people. They've all put in HUNDREDS of gaming hours. Just think about that. This Game is FUN. Bottom line. Go buy it.

I wish I did the same thing. My experience with Skyrim was suppose to be amazing like Oblivion, but I waited to buy Oblivion. I should have waited for Skyrim. I can't finish quest and it rapidly loose interest in the game. Will never pre-order another game again. FONV was suppose to be my last preorder ever, but they mislead people into thinking that Skyrim was going to be a game that they would "squash those bugs", and "we are getting better at it" Quotes from Todd Howard. (Article in link) I was a svcker to actually believe that.

The thing is, this isn't any better of a release and we still have to wait several weeks for any real fixes. The last two patches have been about something that should have never seen on release. The obvious crashes, freezing, and the PS3 problems were obviously a issue they knew about. How could that not have been detected.

Well, to those that don't care if I buy Skyrim or not...unless you work at Bethesda, I don't care that you don't care, so, there. And Thanks Cavalry, I will buy this game someday, but it would be great if the kinks on the quests were fixed

In my first 25 hours of game play Ive not come across any quest bugs.....infact no bugs at all. Perhaps its the computers/xbox's of the people getting them thats the problem.
However WHY come here to tell us youre not buying it...?

I don't see how your comment enhances or contributes to community enthusiasm or game banter. We all love Skyrim.

I hope you exercise as much cautious restraint with the rest of life's seductive temptations. Then you will be smart as opposed to simply dramatic.

It's funny bc he thinks Bethesda cares about his $60 after making millions off this game. Troll is trolling. He's already bought the game. Oh I haven't ran into any quest bugs yet with about 80 hours of play.
