Anyone else "difficulty hop" frequently?

I dont find most humanoid NPCs challenging enough at adept, or even expert some times so i have to shift up to master. Yet dragons/falmer/ and those 100000000000 health tanks we call Chaurus tear me a new one so i usually downshift to adept to be able to kill them.

On that note why are chaurus so strong, lore-wise? I think it takes more time to kill a chaurus than a dragon

I don't change difficulty foir specific enemies, only if all enemies are too easy or give me trouble.

Speaking of Chaurus', ran into them the first time with my new character at level 13. Level 14, ~360 HP, DR 100, 50% poison resistance. Reapers are obviously even tougher. If i used the commands correctly they have no weaknesess either. So, just run :bolt:

I had no problems with chaurus animals. I do have more of a problem with ice bears than with dragons, though. BTW, you wanna have fun? Take on a mammoth.

no I kinda see that as cheating, and I like the satisfaction of getting past a tough encounter by perservering as opposed to changing difficulty. Not ripping on you chaps for doing it I would just personally find it pointless
