I know its been covered before, but i have to know.
I love the game on Xbox but considering i have put over 150+ hours. This game just hasn't given me the same feeling where i can feel i could play til i passed out from sleep deprivation. (like Oblivion and Morrowind)
I am considering upgrading a desktop of mine (GPU and power supply) so i can play this on PC for mods. Would you suggest i do this??
Here's a little bit about me. I am a 24 year old gamer still in college (history even though i am going back to computer science). My first REAL REAL rpg was Diablo 2 LOD. And i put years in that game. From the time i was 12 to the time i was 17 i played that game every night and made countless characters. I miss the feeling of the never ending awesomeness. I also played Oblivion and still play it from time to time. As well as Morrowind because it was the first elder scrolls that blew my mind. Now i am not hating on skyrim even though i have encountered a few REALLY annoying bugs.
1. Fakas? from the companions follows me in whiterun and keeps trying to engage in dialogue.
2. Can't get past the quest on the main questline where you have to make stormcloaks and imperials have a peace council.
3. Random arm flailing.
I can deal with bugs be how annoying they may be. I just miss playing a game that made me go Wow. I don't know what it is but i think i need to play the PC version. I know it's not because i am getting older because there are countless gamers older than me, but something about skyrim is missing. Maybe its the setting, or the short quests. Maybe its the lack of customization lost (armor peices, spells). I am not sure but i am playing oblivion right now to figure this out. If any gamer out there can provide me with some enlightenment please do so.
hope i didn't make this seem confusing or like i am trolling , even when i first got the game something was right. I just want to know if modded Skyrim is worth the investment. Thank you !
