Language setting for non-Unicode programs

I have the Steam english version of Skyrim and I started to note that no mods where working, while textures where working fine.

After many frustrating tests i've found the the reason why mods wherent being loaded was that my language setting for non-Unicode programs was set to japanese.

I've instaled some japanese games that required the non-unicode set to japanese in order to run, leaving it as english causes a fatal error.
It was set to japanese for 1 and a half years and i didnt had any problem with any program or game.

Note that the major difference when using japanese non-unicode is that the "/" is changed to the "¥" symbol, and maybe is the cause of it not being able to run properly.

Maybe the japanese version can load with japanese non-unicode, but im playing the english version and i don't plan on changing to japanese version either.

I've sent an email to the costumer support but im also posting this issue here. I hope some fix can be created on a future patch so i can play Skyrim and my japanese games without having to reboot everytime.
