How to save "sgtm" setting.

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 4:19 pm

Maybe I'm getting old, but in my game everything seems to move a tad to fast. Just like one notch of fast forward. So I stumbled upon the "sgtm" comman for the console.
When set to .9 everything feels more natural. But unlike "timescale" the value seems not to be stored in the savegame.

Is there a way to make this setting permanent?

Thanks in advance!

I'm unfamiliar with this command, what exactly does it do?

I'm not sure of any way of getting it to save in your save game but if you'd like I can try and make a Script Dragon plugin that will automatically set this for you.

"sgtm" is short for SetGlobalTimeMultiplier. This value controls the actual gamespeed. If set lower than 1 gamespeed slows down, if set higher gamespeed increases.
Not to be confused with "timescale".
