» Wed May 30, 2012 3:07 pm So, to put it in a nutshell, I completed the quests Forsworn Conspiracy and No One Escapes Cidhna Mine, but the guards are stuck in a loop. If you don't want spoilers on those two, stop reading.
After getting back to the temple of talos to tell eltrys what I found and being confronted by the corrupt guards, they gave me the option to go with them to jail, or remove their heads. Me being one to never shy away from a good massacre, I chose to battle it out. When all three or four of them were lying dead on the ground, I suddenly started thinking about what cool quest I might have just passed up. Then another guard comes through the door and poses me the exact same question as the first one did, so I chose to go to jail. I helped the forsworn escape, didn't kill anyone, and left town. Upon coming back a long time later, all the guards now give me that exact same response. I can't use my thieves guild bribing abilities, there's no bounty to pay, and submitting to be taken to jail simply restarts the dialogue loop ad infinitum. Is there a console command I can enter to get them off my back? I really wanna buy a house there, but this is killing the hold for me.
