I have suddenly started getting these gray boxes in my game.. I update to beta patch in steam and it is still there.

I have disabled all my mods and still the exact same thing... maybe the newest catalyst drivers are causing this?
drivers 12.2 pre certified running crossfire 6870 by the way

Those are artifacts. When you start getting them, it can mean many things, graphics card core overheating and video ram bloating being a couple of them.

Wierd gonna remove my cards from slots... I checked temps and they are 62C during 100% load

The problem is NOT with your card; please don't worry. The problem lies entirely with the 12.2 pre-certs. They've been causing artifacts in Skyrim and a few other games for many people. So have the 12.3 release candidates.

Do not use them. Roll back your drivers to the 12.1 WHQL or 12.2 previews.
