I am in the quest to fix the White Phial, requested (or granted) by the assistant at Windhelm's apothecary.
He claims he can fix it if I bring mammoth tusk powder (done), another item I can't remember (done), and a Briar Heart.

When I started the quest I already had a Briar Heart in my inventory, as alchemic ingredient. When I kill the Forsworn Briar and open the inventory to take the heart, I can take the heart, but the white arrow pointing to him never dissappears.
It would seem the system is confusing the Briar Heart in my Ingredients List with the Briar Heart that should be a Quest Item.

Does anyone know how to fix this on a PS3?

I have tried to:
1- get rid of them all, but I can't (Quest items can not be eaten, given, sold, or used as reagents)
2- buying more and see if I can use them (see number 1)

Just move on. Give the assistant the ingredients and the quest should advance no matter how many quest markers are left.

If only it was THAT simple.
The reason I am here asking for help/advice is because that didn't work.

The quest is stuck.
