Hey

I got the bug or glitch where my follower ain't with me but whenever I try to recruit a new one he or she says "Get rid of your follower then I will join." or something along those lines.

Can anyone remember within the game where it automatically makes your follower leave you and goes home?

That would be a good solution.

If anyone can help it would be great. I got Xbox 360 version just in case.

Wait some days and he'll be gone from your group, but he surely is waiting for you some place, didn't you order him to stay at any point? Or did you give him a command and asked him to wait on a certain position and you ran off without even noticing?

Can you say dismiss Lydia, acquire another follower then get Lydia back later if you wanted her?

yeah you can rehire your followers, or get em back, but i also wonder how this system works as far as if you tell them to wait and forget about em or where they are, they should by default eventualy go back to where they usually are, so far i haven't seen this work, i told a follower to wait back a bit cause of a hard section of dungeon and when i went back to get her the door was closed, so i had to reload the save and so i want to know if they do go back to their default location in case you lose em somehow.

Thanks for the replies. No I didnt ask her to wait. I dismissed her at first then changed my mind, got Lydia to rejoin me then went to Whiterun and she wasn't there anymore. Just disappeared. But whenever I go to get a new follow ie: Jennessa she says that I need to dismiss her.

I had this problem for about 5 hours now so think of all the in game days that have went by, but she has not turned up at my house.

Its wierd I've even ran around in circles to see if I can get her so that I can press A and talk to her even though she aint technically there (visibaly.)

Would love to see this fixed aswell as given the followers better AI and better customisation like in their fallout game.

But ah well.
