So, after playing for hours and having to constantly change my volume level between skyrim and other activities, I finally found a fix (For me anyway). Basically, this should work for anyone who has the Realtek HD audio manager

• Go to the Sound Effects tab
  
• Choose "Change to graphic EQ" (To the right of reset button)
  
• Finally - slide those bad boys to the top!
  
• Enjoy!

Will be interesting to know if this works for anyone else. Also, depending on how you like your sound normally (outside of skyrim), this might not be ideal, however music and other things actually sound better to me this way.
