Okay, my game just updated tonight and I noticed right after loading my last save game, that Sprinting in 1st person suddenly doesn't work like it used to. Whether running or standing still, if I try to run forward and Sprint, my character stops, moves *backwards* slightly, then lunges forward a few steps, then stops again. Wow. What makes it even more asinine is that Sprinting still works perfectly in 3rd person.

Thanks, Bethesda. I hate 3rd person view and you already force me to ride the horse in 3rd person (not to mention kill cams), so now I'm supposed to have to sprint in 3rd person, too???

Can anyone confirm if this is intended functionality or if this is a bug? I know that I, for one, have no problem going from a run into a sprint and can sprint for many yards without stopping... so am I just badass at sprinting by Skyrim standards, or is this now broken for some reason?

And when can we get something like a 'confirmed buglist'? Or would that just be too embarrassing? It would be much better than trying to figure out what is wrong with your game with no info about it when usually other people have had the same problem...

This happens (for instance) when you start mining while in sneak mode. Just toggle sneak to fix.

Hmm. The strange thing is that I didn't do anything after loading the game except run around a bit and definitely didn't mine so I don't know what could have caused it. Well I ended up fixing it by loading a previous Non-Autosave Manual savegame. Just another thing to convince me that, once again Autosaves are never to be trusted, however justified (or not) my suspicions may be.

Well, if you are right about the mining thing (and I have read that somewhere), then the only way that could have concievably happened is if I started mining in sneak mode before that Autosave happened and the Autosave recorded the messed up Sprinting thing. Oh well, just another random bug for Skyrim I guess. Yay!

Last night I was playing and after leveling up and upgrading stamina, the character would sprint for a second and stop, but only in first person.

I synchronized the game cache and restarted the game (because I was tired of needing to Ctrl+Alt+Del while stuck in loading screens) and that seemed to fix everything as usual.
