Cursor Visible in Game

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 4:11 pm

While I'm playing, mostly in combat, when I go to pivot the camera, my standard mouse cursor will appear in the upper left hand corner of my screen. If I happen to click anywhere while it's visible it will minimize my game. I am only using one monitor. All my drivers are up to date. I do not have any mods. The texture packs are disabled, the sound is reduced, and my settings are automatically configured to Ultra High, yet any setting I put the game at this occurs. Any suggestions would be wonderful.

Try this:

1. Open install folder

2. Locate TESV.exe and right-click it

3. Select Properties from the pop-up menu

4. In the Properties menu, select the tab Compatibility

5. Locate the section Display Settings

6. Select Disable visual themes

7. Click OK

Make a savegame first, and then hit Alt+Esc in-game, please.

EDIT: What's your GPU and drivers?

EDIT2: also, try to run your TESV.exe --> Run this program as administrator.

EDIT3: Just in case, If you have it, remove any controller/gamepad you may have connect to your PC before playing Skyrim and Disable Xbox 360 Controller in Game Options too.
