Gates to other provinces? : V

I've heard there are some mysterious gates that are supposed to lead to the other provinces/possible DLCs.
Where are those gates exactly?

Edges of the map, there is one near Falkreath if you follow the road into the mountains.

There are 3. One to Hammerfell (I think?), one to Cyrodiil, and one to Morrowind. I am fairly sure they are nothing but design choices to give the impression of far off lands. Don't get your hopes up.

apprently on pc you can go beyond the borders and the whole landmasses and some details are there or so i read on google news! ;p

It's just a huge landmass. No trees, no cities, only the big tower of Imperial city.

Eh, with the recent war there would be nothing special there. I would love to go see the Dark Brotherhood there. (The Ruins Of the Sanctuary since the war destroyed them)
