Escaped prisoner

I am looking for an escaped prisoner in whiterun -the map has no clues for me. I have searches houses, roads around whiterun, does anyone have any suggestions?

I have taken care of the quest mentioned above, my problem is that the map is giving me no guidance on where to look for this prisoner. I don't think random running around will help me find them. I have completed escaped prisoner quests correctly before, but this perticular quest is not giving me any guidance. Can I drop this quest ( I'm an Xbox player) or has anyone else had this problem?

Where do you get escaped prisoner quests? 100 hours in and this is completely new to me!
