Yep, you can not keep killing and getting the soul of the scripted ones from their lairs.

Worried about getting the patch cause i heard its more buggy.

thats probably why because i remembered killing the dragon at bonestrewen crest i think it is before on a quest with Farkas (Top BLoke) but then went there again and another one spawned whcih left me a bit confused.
