Is there an easy way to level it up fast???
what i've been doing is crafting all i can craft with my ingredients and searching for the most expensive potion i can make of them, but is it true that the more expensive the potion you make the more exp it will give you????

Yep. Farm up some Giant's toes and start making fortify health potions with them. The more effects you can stack on a single potion, the more expensive it will become... thus the more exp you gain in the skill/level.

try to make invisibility potions. The lunar moth wings are easy to find in large numbers at night around whiterun.. you get 2 for every one you catch.

The other ingredients can be found in assorted areas. It's possible to get large numbers of chaurus eggs but generally in areas where you have to fight them and may not be powerful enough. You can always buy these ingredients from vendors when available.

If you are powerful enough to get the eggs, getting the moths will be easy and you'll be rich too. Remember to increase the base alchemy stat every time you hit the appropriate skill.. 40, 60, and 80. And make a set of enchanted gear for alchemy if you have enchanting. Fully decked out invisibility potions sell for over 2000 each

Different effects will add different values to the price of the potion and thus to the skill exp. You get the most expensive potion out of Giant's Toe, Wheat and Scaly Pholiota/Wisp Wrappings. The "Fortify Health" effect is not one of the most expensive effects, but because Giant's Toes make the effect last 300 seconds, it's still very expensive and exp awarding.

I used giant's toe, wheat and creeper clusters. Ended up with roughly 1247 gold in value for the fortify health potions. Sold 'em all to a fence.

So, having enchanting would increase my exp on making potions???

Having gear with +alchemy will increase your xp gain yes. The best alchemy gear you can get is what you can enchant yourself

If its multi-effects you want, try Bear Claws + Eye of Saber Cat + Hanging Moss. The saber cat eye is hard to get, so its not really suited to farming, but when you have them, the resulting "Damage Magicka" poison is quite valuable (and useless) due to the whopping 5 effects ( Damage Magicka / Damage Magicka Regen / Fortify Health / Restore Stamina / Fortify One Handed ).

yes... you can enchant ring, amulet, falmer helmet, circlet, and gloves with fortify alchemy and equip them all at the same time. At 100 enchanting, this would boost the spell potency 125%, giving you 125% more exp gain and 125% more potion value per potion created. However at 100 enchanting alchemy is not 'really' needed except as a source of cash. Yes you can boost your stats a little more, but it's not huge by any means. Still it's easy and quick when done properly.

On another note, if you have enchanting high enough to do at least 22% reduction in spell cost, but preferably closer to 25%, you should enchant 4 items with conjuration reduction cost and try getting your conjuration up to 100, and then buying summon dremora lord spells (from the college of winterhold) . You will be very powerful and be able to go most places safely even on master. This will allow you to hit the area that has hundreds of those eggs, which is probably the fastest way combined with catching lunar moths which is also easy and fast, to level alchemy quickly. Conjuration is also just plain fun. (with dremoras, the other stuff is underpowered on master) Dual casting soul trap on corpses level up the skill quick.

There is no easy way to level up alchemy , it's one of the skills that requires dedication , it's true that making stronger potions levels up quicker , but you still have to know the ingredient's properties by making potions and trying combinations sometimes

i found the quickest way is simply to do a tour of Skyrim , fast travel in a couple of cities to buy all the ingredients at the alchemist shops (except daedra hearts and void salts which aren't worth the price for alchemy purposes ) , then get back home and make potions , rince and repeat until 100 , once you get over 50 in alchemy , you'll be making profits , it becomes faster as you start making stronger/ more expensive potions . Over 75 in alchemy , you'll become rich quickly

As it was said , having enchanted gear helps , you can buy alchemy gear at merchants , or perhaps enchant it yourself , in my 2 playthrough , i maxed alchemy before enchanting so i did not try though .

fastest way, at least on the PC, is to just go around at level 1 gathering anything and everything you can find then printing out a list of what works well. Anyone who can play a first person shooter on the PC can go around gathering blue butterfly wings and other assorted insects fairly easily. There are very common items like blue mountain flowers and blue butterfly wings that when combined still do a good job leveling the skill. Combine that with leveling via training in whiterun selling the potions you make to get the cash back you spend.... of course getting 400 of them eggs and going out at night to get lunar moth wings would be faster yet, for someone who is powerful enough to visit the place to get the eggs.

This website is great for alchemy. Still takes a while but will tell you exactly what to make. The more expensive the potion the more experience you get from it.

Level it with another skill.

Two things you need:
1. Alchemy trainer that can follow you.
2. A set of armor that grants you 100% reduction of a school of magic.
OR
2. Level with smithing.

Personally, I used both smithing and illusion and got alchemy to 100 in about an hour. Granted, I had about 20K to work with.
