Thank god. I dunno about anyone else, but the last ones were busted. YouTube links would cause my screen to blank out and then the video itself would just be green. Games... LMAO, couldn't even touch a single game. Horrid.

''Game-changing performance boost of up to 45% in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim''
Nice!
Anyone notice the performance boost?

According to Manual from the Nvidia forum staff, its just the very same boost, that was already implemented till those betas in december.

Anyone actually try these out yet? I'm always leary of updating video card drivers so I won't bother unless the performance improvements claimed are in fact present.

I haven't had any issues with the 295.73 drivers (two 480GTX SLI), I guess I'm lucky.

Still using the 290.53 "Skyrim edition" Nvidia Drivers....so is this the same as these drivers? Just now have a seal of approval from microsoft?

Lol..when the last beta came out I read the release notes and nothing there made me want to change from a perfectly good set of drivers. I like the fact that these drivers used Skyrim screenes during the install.

Is the latest set a "Skyrim Edition" also ?

The boost the 290 driver gave me for Skyrim was great, runs flawless...Give me reason to update...anyone?

I was using ancient drivers from 2009 when I updated to 295.73 last week. According to Fraps, my framerate did not go up, not even by a single number. I can't say I'm enthusiatic about installing another driver.

Agreed! I noticed a slight FPS drop with the last batch. Downloading now... We'll see.

I got a noticeable boost from the beta drivers that came out last month. The very last batch were bunk, though.

Sure, I'll try'em.

I noticed a decrease in frame rate after the Bethesda update compared to SkyBoost. When the last Nvidia update hit I gained a few FPS back but it can still notice a little stutter in Markarth when with SkyBoost there was none. I'll give these a shot and see if there is a difference.

EDIT***

Definitely helped me. Markarth doesn't seem to stutter anymore. Not that it was doing it a whole lot - it was just slightly noticeable. Probably a difference of maybe 1-3 FPS

GTX 275
1680x1050
2x AA / 8 AF
Texture Quality High
Radial Blur Med
Shadow High
Decal High
FXAA on
All water options selected except Reflect Sky
All View Distances MAX and Distance Object Detail High / Object Detail Fade selected.

Some minor ini tweaks as well and AO forced on the card.

I found them to be worse than the previous WHQL driver (295.73), They froze Oblivion, so I rolled back.

I've been using the 295.73 drivers for a few weeks now and i noticed a huge improvement in performance. Previously i could only run with Shadows on the medium setting because micro-stuttering. Now i can run with them set to Ultra no problem. Would like to see a few more comments from others and their experiences b4 i upgrade to the new 296.10 release though...........

I'm wondering if anyone here is running Windows XP. Trying to ascertain what http://www.gamesas.com/topic/1358392-windowsnvidia-issue-speedtime-issues/ this is being caused by, and so far it looks like driver issues.

Im guessing your graphics card is also from 2009? I think thats why, drivers have pulled everything they can out of a card that age. Just a theory, I have no idea what im talking about :P
