Havent played skyrim for a few weeks came back to it today to find it flashing like crazy anyone no why? Havent changed any settings since i last played so im guessing there was an update or somthing witch is causing this. Im running crossfire with Radeon HD 5770 cards but even with crossfire disabled its still the same if anyone can help it would be much appreciated. I have also re-installed skyrim but still no change.

Ouch! Very ugly! Are you using the 12.2 or 12.3 ATI driver? Those are buggy mate. Roll back to 12.1 if this is the case.

I had some flashing right after using the new 1.5 patch but it settled down after a while. Give it some time and see if that happens for you too. It was at the shoreline with the water for me.
