Just a quick question, Does anyone know if you can store items in your room in the College of Winterhold? Like in the cabinets and stuff and them not get deleted or stolen by other NPC's (If they even do that).

I know you can get chests in our homes but I restarted a week or so ago and cant be bothered to do the quests for the rights to buy homes in places, I have one home but I fear the chests will not hold all the stuff I want to put in them, also I would like to have different chests for different things seeing as skyrim chests and inventory are not very well organised...

The wardrobes are "safe".. the barrels are re spawning.(so definitively not safe)... however you might occasionally still lose items.. (given some reports)
Personally on my mage playthrough.. They do indeed seem to be safe.
