Items in display cases help

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 6:31 am

When I'm in-game (not in the creation kit) and try to put amulets/circlets in a display case and close the lid, the item spawns on top of the display case when I reload the cell.

How do I fix this, or do I have to wait for a possible update by bethesda?

all depends....

if it not your Display case ...by design it resets...
If mod added .....check with author
If trying to add a display case to your own mod....wrong forum...try the CK forum>>>

If actually a display case, in your vanilla ,player home...which home and what display case??

When I put amulets/circlets in a display case and close the lid, the item doesn't spawn inside the case when I reload the cell. How do I fix this, or do I have to wait for a possible update by bethesda?

You forgot an important part..as you posted on nexus...".I've been as descriptive as I can be. I open a display case, put an amulet in it, then close the display case. When I re enter the cell, the amulet is no longer in the case, but on top of it instead."

No clue...

Okay, I admit I was wrong and could have been a little more descriptive. The display case in question is in my own created house, buit I think I may have solved it by enabling "Don't Havok settle". I'm going to test and see if the problem is still occuring and get back to you.

Don't havoc settle basically means not to spawn the object with physics. I've used it before for laying around items that like to fly off tables and stuff.
