Right after I talk to the orb in the sky at the end of the quest I just fall to my death. Can anyone please help me. There's no other way around this... I have no saves out of this quest...

Are you on PC or Console? If you're on the pc hit the ~ key to open the console, type tlc to toggle collision off, get to a safe distance from the ground, then open the console again and tlc to turn collision back on. If you're on console, well. . . that's a bad bug. You sure you don't have any auto saves prior to that point?

Um. Reload to the last save, and use TGM to get around falling to death?

can you shout in the fallling scene? I don't remember, but if you can, fade - Become ethereal will come in hand and you don't even need the console.

AFAIK, you can't do anything until the cutscene ends. So whatever you do, it would have to be done prior to starting the end scene.

This only happens if you exit her dialogue early. Reload, and let Meridia exit the conversation. You should be fine after that.
