Some sounds very quiet

Hello, I was hoping if anyone could help me with this.

I haven't played Skyrim in about 2 weeks, but today when I did, some sounds are very quiet or inaudible altogether.

For instance, slashing a sword/dagger against any surface is barely heard, but drawing the weapon is normal volume. NPC's voices are not audible either.

Now, I had previously installed the "Reduced NPC Greeting Distance" mod that makes it so NPCs only talk to you when you are really close, but I uninstalled that through NMM. I'm not sure if that is playing a part, because random noises like the weapon slashing, doors opening/closing, and footsteps are incredibly quiet too.

I haven't changed any audio settings in Windows either.

Computer specs are

Core i5 2500K 3.3Ghz
eVGA GTX 560ti 448 Cores
8GB G.Skill memory
Windows 7 Pro

EDIT: A total re-install fixed all the issues.

Yeah, same here. Beta 1.5 was fine but when updated to release version the most sound disappeared; voices are still there though. No music, no sound fx; settings look fine.

Maybe they noticed the thread where people have issues with low dialogue and adjusted that to the detriment effect of other sounds?

Darn it. The Beth High Rez packs wont load. Even tried adding the bsa in the ini like "old" times.

What happened between Beta and release?
