How useful is the Shout? Anyone use it a lot? Does it only attack hostiles? What happens when you use it in a town/city?

I use it whenever I can. It always helps to have some Death from Above going on in any fight.

It's also funny to invade Imperial camps with a dragon on your side.

It's okay, not the best. Yes, he only attacks hostiles, but friendlies may be caught in the line of fire. If you use it in a town he just flies in circles.

Is there 3 words for it? Having all 3 extends the duration?

You have to say all three in order to summon Odahviing. You learn them all at once though, and in you miss one or two words it recharges in like three seconds.

300? So basically can't use any Shout with that one activated. How long does he stay? Can you tell him to leave?

He stays for a good long time, the majority of the recharge rate I think. You can't tell him to leave, but he's useful in taking out any hostile in the area. My advice is to not call him around a lot of friendlies or in a boss fight, he might mess it up. Also it's very important that you avoid using Dragonrend [you'll know it when you get it] on him, it will make him hostile.

No, it's like any normal shout whereas you can't use any other shout until the cooldown is over.

He hangs around for a bit after the cooldown. Not all the time but most of the time.
