Bow Killcam Glitch with Bull's Eye Perk

Post » Wed May 30, 2012 7:25 pm

Killcam will activate when i get my 15% chance of paralysis despite not killing the the creature i shot. And when i don't get the kill cam when i get the paralysis shot, the creature is paralyzed but they took no damage on that shot.

Issues with the beta should be posted in the appropriate forum.

Edit: I take that back. It seems that 1.5 just got http://www.bethblog.com/2012/03/20/skyrim-1-5-available-on-steam/on Steam.

I got the same issue. But I'm not sure if i have the final Version of the new Patch. I installed the Beta Patch when it got out. Now i read all over the internet that the Final Patch 1.5 is out but my Skyrim has not updated or downloaded anything. Ingame it shows me version 1.5.xxxx. I reported the Bug in another Thread here at this Forum and i also reported the Bug back in the Beta Patch Forum. The Problem seems to be that the Paralyzing Effect activates as soon as you release the Mouse Button to shoot the Arrow. This causes the Enemy to fall over and the Arrow to miss the Enemy. Before the patch if i remember correctly the Paralyzing Effect activated when the Arrow hit the Target. So Bethesda please Patch the Patch again

Yep the bow kill cam is bugged if a stun proc occurs at the same time. It can also cause your bow to stay stuck in a fired state, forcing you to un-equip and re-equip it to get it working again.

Yes, I can confirm this issue. Happened to me last night when I was fighting a dragon. He was at full health (it was the first shot I took at him), it showed the kill cam, but my arrow didn't even seem to fire. I was stuck with my bow drawn with no arrow, forcing me to un-equip and re-equip to be able to shoot again.

I just wish they'd put an option in the loader to turn them off completely..
