Problem with thralls

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 4:03 am

I went though everything to get myself two thralls finally found some high leveled guys to kill and revive to do my bidding, and now every so offten I they just disappear. They fallow so far behind me and I can't fast traval because it's a 3 in 5 chance they don't make it. Is there a way to have a reliable thralls? People talk about good high leveled named npcs to get as thralls but I don't see the point if they are so unreliable. I lose a few good staffs and weapons due to this problem.

It's a creature raised as an Undead that doesn't have a time limit till it dies on its own.

Nope, they svck, that's why I refuse to use them in their current state. I've had some of 'em get stuck, even when they die it still says they're in my active effects menu so everyone I talk to is scared of me. They're broken.

I found killing a few bandits or forsworn outside of caves before you go in can be helpful but don't count on anything being solid because they just get lost.

I store my thralls in solitude house basemant, when I need them I can just go down and pick one up, yes people have problems since they stay in the active effects but I saw that when i re-summon atronarchs and then kill them the effect fades.

The only problem here is that as I level I can resurrect less humanoids, since they level up with you and the thrall spell stays on 40 ;/

Best thralls I can suggest are the thalmor mages until they do not level over the cap and Astrid until she became "too powerful" to resurrect for some reason.

How are you preventing the bodies from disappearing? Seems to happen with everyone in this house or Whiterun, since 1.2 at least.
