Name of ruins where you need slow time to bypass some gates

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 9:00 am

In the early stages of playing i went down into what i THINK was a Dwemer ruin ( ? ) , and a bit down there's a puzzle where you need the Slow Time Shout in order to continue.
Basicly you press a leaver , different gates go up or down and you have to slow time in order to bypass this puzzle

Cant renember the name, can anyone help me out

cheers

Don't think you need slow tIme for any puzzle there is a couple where whirlwind sprint is pretty much required

as above, slow time actualy slows you too, meaning you still wouldnt make the distance, whirlwind sprint is more than likley what you need.

Ustengrav is a Nordic Ruin North East of Morthal.

If slow time also slows you whats the point of the shout?

Try it out... it actually helps out a lot... sure everything you do is slow as well... but your turning speed and reaction speed are twice as fast compared, making you kill things faster and easier...

If an arrow takes 0.5 seconds to hit you in the head, you're dead before you even see it.
If it takes 5 seconds, you can see it and move out of the way, even if you move slower :o

Whirlwind Sprint + Sprinting (default key on PC) is fast enough.

Labyrinthian, Hag's End and Korvanjund teach Slow Time

No its not Ustengrav , but i understand why you thought that

Im talking about a room thats split apart by 4 smaller rooms with a lever in each one, the walls are Dwemer steel bars , and the doors are steel bars that come up from the ground

I think you're talking about Mzinchaleft. And I can tell you, that the puzzle can be done requiring no sprinting at all, you just have to backtrack to hit the correct levers in the right order!
