Some feedback for Bethesda

Hi all, Bethesda,

Just wishing to post some feedback that I've read not only myself am experiencing but others aswell. I'll make it short and sweet and to the point:

- Ambient Occlusion seems to be broken since the 1.5 patch. It will flicker when either in outdoor/indoor environments or not work at all.

- Overall average FPS seems to have dropped a bit. It feels as if some of the CPU bound issues have come back since the 1.5 patch. For example: Whiterun when looking down towards the tree from the top of the palace staircase, or when in Marketh Standing near the waterfall looking down, and most other cities have some of the low FPS issues as they did before the 1.4 patch.

- Anti-aliasing is broken through the nVidia Control Panel.

The new killmoves are great, but whats more important I'm sure most will agree is a stable game, and I feel that for the majority the 1.4 patch has been the best where stability is concerned.

This is an honest plee to the folks at Bethesda, we all love your games, lots of us have been long time fans. I hope that someone there will read this and take heed.

Cheers, and thanks for a great series of games.

Have you tried to measure the FPS without any mods activated? 1.5 changes a lot of stuff related to crafting and water imagespaces (this basically breaks most crafting and water mods until they're updated). Outdated scripts running in the game due to those mods may also eat FPS. I didn't notice any decrease in FPS at all after 1.5. AO is broken of course. Unfortunately, forcing ambient occlusion, through nvidia control panel or ENB, was always something unsupported and I don't think that Beth will fix it (unless they incorporate SSAO into the actual game engine as seen on the gamejam video).
