just logged on steam , but the patch won't download...

is anything else i have to do ?

If you have the latest beta then you have the patch already.

??? ,beta = not definitive....
final 1.5 = definitive.....

As I said, the final Beta was the one that one released as the definitive patch. At best, any changes between final beta and release were small, a few kbs at best that you probably already downloaded without realising as it would've only been a few seconds.

If you are in the beta program, then you get the bonus of 'having' the l;atest version of the patch. You DO NOT have to download the full thing each time, just the tiny updates.
