V-Sync not enabled after 1.5

Post » Thu May 31, 2012 12:05 am

Is anyone else having v-sync issues with 1.5 and Radeon?

I have a 2gb 6970.

V-sync is enabled in the prefs ini (ipresentinterval=1), and I've also tried forcing through CCC (12.2 but also rolled back to 12.1 and tried RadeonPro, but neither made a difference).

This has only occurred for me since the latest patch.

I'm getting tearing no matter what I do...for now I'm dealing with it by running DXtory and capping max frames, but would prefer to have the option of turning vsync back on!

It has to be in SKYRIM.ini as well I think.

Also have you got the framerate limiter mod installed? This and the files it includes disable vsync.

Vsync is not disabled by the patch itself, has to be something else.

Aha! I let the game recreate my ini for the update, and I just checked and ipresentinterval is only in prefs, not in the main ini - will add when I get back to my gaming pc and see if that solves it, thanks!

It may not work mate, but I only say try it because I was able to disable it once by having it at 0 in skyrim ini.

Also try Radeon Pro and make a skyrim profile, forcing vsync.

Look in your skyrim main directory or these files: Antilag and d3d9.dll. Delete those.
