I have played none stop for..wow has it been 5 months now and for the first time, i cannot continue to play. I love the game but evrytime i around grass i get this weird lined goign up and down to were its nauseating when i move. I have uninstalled my draiver and have gone back to 11.9, i have turned off AA, i have set my my DoF to 0...i also used that mod that can fix the problem but unfortuantly it didnt for me. Is there anythign else i can tweek in the ini files or am i actualy gonna have togo play something else and go play morrowind or soemthign til this is all sorted out?

I hear you. I have the exact same issue. Strange after images when I move near grass. But is is only occuring on grass. Are you running any mods? What is your video card and Drivers? I am running an ATI Radeon 4800 series with some old catalyst 9.2 drivers.

In SkyrimPrefs.ini check the line fShadowBiasScale=. If it is something like 0.25 change it to 4.00.

Thanks for the reply. Bur changing that value had no impact. I am not sure if "shadow" is the right word. It is more of a faint ghost image. But it is only on the grass.

Just an FYI. I upgraded my drivers to Catalyst 12.1 and the artifacts disappeared. Can you post what your video card and drivers are?

Now even Jesus can't get Skyrim to work :/
