Hey all,

Has anyone had any problems with the devastating blow perk? I recently added that perk at level 32, and despite the fact that I have leveled up two more times since then, I have yet to get a single decapitation. That makes me wonder if I am even getting the damage bonuse from the perk. I am using an enchanted (adds frost damage) ebony battleaxe as my main weapon. I know the perk says you need to do a standing power attack. I assume that means I just do a power attack while not moving in any direction, but maybe I am doing it wrong? I usually keep an eye on my stamina and make sure it is not empty when I try the attack, but I don't really know if I need a certain amount of stamina or something like that. Any thoughts as to why this will not work for me?
