Since 1.5 update

Ive had to uninstall like 30 mods. It svcks, but whatever. If you are having any problems with CTD's or freezes and stuff, go through every one of your mods and check them to see if they are the culprit. It might be your favorite one. IT HAZ 2 BE DUN!

Things were running great for me in Beta 1.5. Haven't played in a week, then with the live 1.5 patch I get dead pixels, especially with bright light. It is an issue only with skyrim, none of my other games. Is there anything I can do?
I would post a screen shot but I can't figure out how to upload it.

Strip your game back to vanilla and start a new game with no mods. Save the game in a new slot and start to reintroduce mods, testing as you go. It sounds extreme but if you're using a lot of mods it's really the only sure way to go.

Might be your graphics driver. Someone posted the same problem in the general discussion and for him the new Catalyst 12.2 caused the problem. If you are running a Nvidia-card I can't give you an answer. ^^

Mods are so damn important in this game, that I will live with some CTDs and freezes.

Also I found, that I can reduce the amount of loading screen freezes by first loading a save in an interior cell (e.g. a house, tavern) and afterwards loading one in the world space (e.g. Skyrim, Whiterun).

True, I'm not saying don't use mods at all, but if you start with a clean savegame (new game started with no mods loaded) it's a good place to start from. Unfortunately some code from mods may also be saved in the savegame files, making them impossible to clean. I use mods with v1.5.24 without any CTDs or freezes. It can be done but you have to be picky and careful.
